Described Video services will be available after a certain date, to be determined.Closed Captions will be provided.Synopsis: Rachel and Leon have just moved from the big city, to a small town, in effort to become a closer family. Eli, their only child, struggles to socialize until he begins art lessons with town outcast, Meena. In a world where safety is assumed, the only threat that remains is the one waterway that runs through the town: The Strid. As strange things begin to reveal themselves to Eli, the caretakers must come to a common understanding and be in relationship to one another. A story of family, integrity, grief, and how we relate to one another through the land. The Strid was imagined, mentored, and created on the land of the Blackfoot Confederacy: consisting of the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations, and the Stoney Nakoda: consisting of the Bearspaw, Wesley and Chiniki First Nations as well as the Tsuu T&#x27;ina First Nation. This is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3. This land is for now, colonially ceded as Treaty 7.
