The State of Voting Rights in the Lone Star State

It's an election year! Texas is the epicenter for voting rights, with ongoing controversies concerning Texas' redistricting map, the state's photo ID law, and voter registration processes at the Department of Public Safety and at high schools, among others. Mimi Marziani, the Executive Director of the Texas Civil Rights Project and a professor of "Election Law and Policy" at the University of Texas School of Law, will present an overview of the state of voting rights in the Lone Star State in this unprecedented presidential election year.

Join the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association for this event. This one hour session is pending State Bar of Texas CLE approval.

Registration and coffee at 7:45 AM, program begins promptly at 8 AM. Validated parking available at one of the Ross Tower garages, please bring your parking ticket to the front desk.
