About this event
- Event lasts 2 hours
You walk into a room that smells like memory.
Camphor. Coastal Pine. Black Walnut. The essence of Deodar Cedar from somewhere near Alhambra. A living library of what was once rooted and is now resurrected by hand—planed, polished, and repurposed by the good people of Angel City Lumber.
Join us here, in this sacred sanctuary, for a guided journey back into the self.
This is not just a gathering.
It is a sensorial journey. A reclamation of body and breath.
We begin not with words, but with touch.
An anointing.
Rasa Veda handcrafted oils, warmed by hand, pressed gently into skin—a slow ceremony of self-care.
Botanicals for the heart. Essences for the ether.
A moment to lean into softness, to remember the sacredness of your own skin.
And then—movement. Not choreography, but expression. The kind your body remembers before your mind interrupts.
You will be invited into your own form. To loosen. To listen. To unfurl.
As the space shifts, music begins. Compositions born of the Pancha Mahabhutas—the Five Great Elements—each song tuned to a frequency that awakens a particular sense.
Earth. Water. Fire. Air. Ether.
We listen not just with ears, but with organs. With memory. With marrow.
We will also enjoy a warm, adaptogenic tonic—slow brewed with herbs that steady the nervous system and awaken cellular joy.
You’ll feel it bloom inside, root to crown.
The trees around us are not passive witnesses. They whisper. They hold us.
Each piece of timber in the room carries its own origin story—from the hills of Altadena, the sidewalks of Venice, the schoolyards of South Central.
This is a sanctuary built from what others deemed discardable. And in that spirit, we gather.
You are invited. Limited spaces.
Bring your breath. Your senses. Your willingness to open.
** BRING your favorite mug, all things to make your space cozy (ie, blanket, pillow, sheepskin), and altar offerings that represent rest and reflection. Wear loose comfortable clothing to invite both movement and relaxation.
**A Portion of the proceeds will go to THE ALTADENA RECIPROCITY PROJECT
