Overview

Join us for the Reception for 'The Source of Self Regard' at InLiquid Gallery

Join us on 2nd Thursday at Crane Arts and get an inside look at The Source of Self Regard, curated by Tayyib Smith.

About the exhibition:

Beginning with the radical act of seeing oneself—and one’s community—with reverence, The Source of Self Regard asserts that self-regard is neither a luxury nor ego. It is a necessity. Curated by cultural worker and entrepreneur Tayyib Smith, the exhibition brings together six Black artists with roots in Philadelphia to examine the Black self in a powerful celebration and affirmation of belonging. Learn more here.

The InLiquid Gallery is located within the Crane Arts Building, which is wheelchair accessible. There is limited accessible parking at the front of the building and a ramp leading to the main entrance. The main building door is not automated. Two all-gender bathrooms with multiple stalls are available for use — one with urinals, one without, and both with 1–2 wheelchair-accessible stall(s).
