The Soul of Epirus

The Anatoliama Inc and the Maliotis Cultural Center are thrilled to present "The Soul of Epirus" concert featuring Grammy nominated laouto player from Epirus Vasillis Kostas, 2 time Grammy nominated percussionist George Lernis, acclaimed singer Aimilia Chalkia and extraordinary clarinetist Nektarios Papageorgiou. This project has been presented at the Philarmonie de Paris in France, the Adem organization in Switzerland and at the Megaron Concert Hall in Greece. At the upcoming concert in Boston, the audience will get to experience a versatile program of the rich musical traditions of Epirus (Northwestern Greece).

Special appearance by the New England Greek Orchestra program, the St.Romanos the Melodist Byzantine Choir directed by Fr.Romanos and special guest Beth Bahia Cohen on violin.
