Join us on Saturday, June 29th at 7:30pm for Clark Ave Production's second annual Pride Comedy Show Fundraiser "The So Homo Comedy Show"! We are thrilled that Kushala Sip & Tapas Bar is sponsoring this event . Tickets are $42 and include one appetizer. Tickets can only be booked on Open Table. Doors at 7:00pm; show at 7:30pm.

All proceeds will be donated to Youth Elemento and Chelsea Black Community, two Chelsea based non-profit organizations that support young adults with a variety of programs including LGBTQ support groups and mental health services.

We have some of Boston's best LGBTQ comedians performing: Danya Trommer hosts; Hernan Sanchez fills our guest spot; Maria Palombi features and Will Smalley is our headliner.

Art created by LGBTQ youth will be on display and available for purchase. Questions? Please reach out to the organizer Devra Zabot, devra@chelseacitystudio.com.

As a film/video/photo producer who grew up in the theater I miss the thrill of live events and am excited to bring comedy, spoken word and the occasional open mic to downtown Chelsea, MA which at one point during the early part of the 1900s had not one, not two but four theaters along Broadway. My great-grandparents were able to see Yiddish theatre in the 1930s. In fact, the building I live in WAS the location for that Yiddish theater. For all these reasons and more, I truly believe that by simply opening up a door I am helping to contribute to the creative economy of our unique and vibrant city under the bridge.
