For 32 years, the NYC-based and criticallyacclaimed Slackers have been touring the worldwith their blend of Ska, Reggae, and Soul.Since 1991, the Slackers have released fifteen albums andcountless singles, while their 1000s of live performancesfeed their fans with energetic sets of ecstatic music. The Slackers have been called ‘the Sound of New York’ bythe New York Times. They were described by BrooklynVegan as a “clean mix of Ska, Reggae, and Soul that getsdirtied up by Vic Ruggiero’s tough New York accent.’In April 2022, The Slackers released a new album, “DontLet The Sunlight Fool Ya” (Pirates Press) which quicklyshot to the top of the US Billboard charts. The first timethat a Slackers’ album has charted! Ironically after 30years as a band, they qualified as a Billboard ‘new artist!’The Washington Post noted that the Slackers “remain atthe top of their game.”Official Website: www.theslackers.comFacebook: www.facebook.com/theslackersTwitter: @theslackersbandInstagram: @theslackersbandListen to the Slackers on Spotify:https://open.spotify.com/album/02YdqekgXBbl7t1N59tVh3

In October, 2011, five scrappy musicians formed a band with one simple dream: to pull off the biggest diamond heist the world had ever seen. In the process they discovered a shared love of ska. They started covering early ‘60s classics as well as 2Tone and Third Wave tunes before writing their own original songs in a contemporary ska style. Soon the band was playing gigs across the region and opening for bands like The Pietasters, Pilfers and Bim Skala Bim. In 2018 the band released a self-titled, 9-track CD and in 2021, played the Supernova International Ska Festival.

Over the years new musicians joined and others moved on, but the band has remained true to its upbeat ska roots. In 2020, Tricia Lynn Gonzalez, cat burglar and lead singer with the legendary 90s band The Miggedys, joined the crew. Today Some Ska Band is a tight, 9-piece outfit, and while they have yet to pull off that heist, they’re keeping busy packing dance floors and recording your new favorite songs.

drenched, all-instrumental rock and roll. This trio takes the surf music of the

1960s and adds modern and eclectic influences, creating their own unique

sound. The Jagaloons have performed all over the Northeast since 2015

with some big names in the surf scene like Messer Chups, Surfer Joe, Los

Tiki Phantoms, The Surfrajettes and more. They have released a couple of

full length albums on UK-based Sharawaji Records and a 7” with Otitis

Media. In 2024, they will release a brand new LP on Missing Fink records.
