The Consortium’s 201 DC Selection's is committed to growing the number of arts and humanities events, as well as, safeguard D.C. culture, incubate creatives from multiple discplines, and pay artists . That said, we accept donations, write grants, and incorporate fundraising into each event. The Consortium leverages the weekly shows to fundraise to pay artists and support other charitable causes. The Consoritum offers a “Party with a Purpose” program that enables charitable organizations to fundraise and artist to get paid by having the charitable organization bring their constituents to one of the events then receive a portion of the food and beverage sales from the event. The larger the event more outreach and exposure for the cause, funds raised for the cause, and payout for the artist.
