About this event

  • 2 days

The Selah Retreat focuses on the framework of our being - Mind, Body, & Spirit. It's an intentional weekend built around “remembering what it means to be human”. A good mental picture to help practically describe what this looks like is to picture “your most restorative day off”. We believe that’s being present & grateful with where you are, sharing beautiful meals that nourish your body, getting in nature & breathing in the fresh air, reflecting with others your joys, your hopes, your grievances, your fears, and lastly, resting; unplugged from all the noise & notifications to simply, be. The Selah experience is the pause you’ve been longing for — your moment to remember why you are here and what is most important to you.

1. Accommodations - This retreat will be hosted by The Society Hotel in Bingen, Washington. We have booked 6 individual cabins with 2 queens beds in each cabin. Availability is limited so reserve your place!

2. Nutrition - All of the meals & snacks will be prepared with organic & non-gmo ingredients, locally sourced from surrounding farms in the Pacific Northwest. Please let us know what dietary restrictions and allergies you may have. There will be plenty of beautiful food to enjoy!

3. Spa - Featuring an indoor saltwater soaking pool, an outdoor hot pool, a cold plunge pool & a grand cedar sauna: you have a wide variety of options for delighting your senses and relaxing the body.

4. Selah Sessions :

- A session focusing on the mind where we will be doing guided meditative practices, interactive group work, and a short teaching

- A session focusing on the body where we will engage in movement. This will be accommodating for all fitness levels and will leave you feeling refreshed, connected, and open.

- A session focusing on the spirit to ponder, ask the questions, embrace the tension, and taking the space to reflect on “what it all means” as a group and individually.

5. Selah-care bundle - Resources to continue care post retreat.

- A complete guide to local farms, nutrition subscriptions, counselors, and fitness trainers. Along with the book recommendations, podcasts, and other recommended retreats to go to for further treatment.
