Art and business come together for a special evening at Antieau Gallery! 
Monday, March 13 at 7:00 pm @ Antieau Gallery - French Quarter, 927 Royal St.
Ari Weinzweig, author and co-founding partner of Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor (called "The coolest small company in America" by Inc. Magazine), is visiting New Orleans, and Antieau Gallery is excited to be able to host him for a conversation about his latest work, Zingerman’s Guide to Good Leading, Part 4: A Lapsed Anarchist’s Approach to the Power of Beliefs in Business.
The new book talks about the little understood, but nevertheless enormous, impact that our beliefs have on our businesses and our lives. Ari details how what we believe about our staff, ourselves, our customers, etc. is driving every action. And how, in order to make meaningful changes in our work, we would do best to look first at what we believe.
The book also explores the role of hope in the workplace and looks at how to systemically embed the spirit of generosity into your business. In the book’s epilogue Ari shares his belief that business and life are like art: “approaching life as art can bring (our) natural creativity to the forefront. Designing our businesses as if we’re artists invites us to pay more attention—to listen for harmony and rhythm, to choose original products and free-thinking people, to check the colors, and to embellish the corners—in ways that we probably wouldn’t when we’re ‘just going to work.’”
John U. Bacon, author of the New York Times' bestseller, Endzone: The Rise, Fall and Return of Michigan Football, says, "Some business leaders know practice. Some know theory. Ari’s writing about business has had a huge influence on Chris Roberts-Antieau and the way Antieau Gallery is run. In particular, Chris is a big fan of the small, single-essay, pamphlets that Zingerman’s has released. Each pamphlet is an essay taken from one of Ari’s books, and put into print as a free standing, single-subject publication. Chris says, “The pamphlets are truly changing the way I see, not only my business, but so many other aspects of my life.”   
Antieau Gallery is happy to be able to host Ari to hear about his learnings from the book, the Zingerman’s story, and more. The event will feature cheese from Zingerman’s Creamery (via the skilled staff at St. James Cheese Company on Prytania Street).
Tickets for the event are available at four price points:
$20 includes the talk and a signed copy of one of Ari’s signature pamphlets   
$50 includes the talk and a signed copy of Ari’s highly acclaimed new book, Zingerman’s Guide to Good Leading, Part 4: A Lapsed Anarchist’s Approach to the Power of Beliefs in Business
$120 includes the talk and the complete, signed by Ari, 4-part set of Ari’s Guides to Good Leading
