Frequently asked questions

Why do we need tickets if this is a free event?

Everyone from our food and drink providers to our awesome exhibitors and volunteers need to have a solid estimate on how many friends to expect so we can be sure we have enough for everyone to enjoy!

Will alcohol be served?

We will have several breweries and wineries present offering a wide assortment of samples to try, drinks to purchase, and products to take home. You will need a valid form of ID and there will be a police officer onsite.

Can we bring our dog?

Well behaved pets are always welcome at the Knauss Homestead!

What's the parking situation?

We share a parking lot with lots of space for you to use. Vendors may use Knauss Lane to drop off their materials closer to their tent before parking in the lot. There will be volunteers present to safeguard your stuff while you park.

Is there a rain date?

NOPE.

What other events do you have at the Knauss Homestead?

Aside from the Strawberry Festival, we are having the Peach Festival on August 5th and the Harvest Festival on September 16th, as part of the overall Emmaus Heritage Days event. You can register for those events by clicking on our profile image.
