Seventeen years after a tragic act of violence, two women—once best friends—meet in a quiet park to face the loss that forever binds them. One mourns a son taken by murder. The other grieves a son serving a life sentence for that crime. As memories of their boys surface, the mothers confront love, guilt, forgiveness, and the question of how grief lives differently in each of us—yet comes from the same place.
The Same Sky is a raw, intimate exploration of motherhood, accountability, and the shared humanity found on both sides of tragedy.
