How will the coffee be judged?

Accepted Answer

Our judges will be cupping the coffees blind and will score each coffee using the SCA quality scale. Each coffee will be scored and evaluated on fragrance/aroma, flavor, aftertaste, acidity, body, uniformity, balance, cleanness, and sweetness. Highest ranking scores will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Where can I park?

Paid street parking is available on both sides of Orange Ave. Additional parking can be found directly behind Stemma Craft Coffee on State Ln.

Question 3

Will there be food and drinks at the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes we will have pastries and beverages available for purchase at the event.

Question 4

What is the event's schedule?

Accepted Answer

The event begins at 5pm where we'll open the floor for guests and participants to connect. The blind cupping will begin at 5:30pm. After all the coffees have been cupped, the judges will deliberate and present the winners. Event ends at 7pm

Question 5

Am I allowed to bring guests with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every competing roaster is allowed to bring whomever they'd like to join them at the event, however the event's cupping will be reserved for the judges and roasters.
