This special morning includes:

Storytelling – Sharing wisdom & our personal journeys

Fireside Chat – Real talk about faith and rest

Craft & Chill – A creative rest activation

Authentic Community – Meaningful connection over Kingsmen Coffee specialty sips, and heartfelt conversation

Book Signing – An opportunity to take home your signed copy of the Rest Guide and a gift card from Kingsmen Coffee.

Why The Rest Guide Exists

You don’t need another productivity system. You don’t need more discipline. You don’t need to try harder to rest.

You need a gentle, grounded way to come home to yourself and to God.

The Rest Guide was created for Black women who are:

  • Always holding it together
  • Tired of pushing through exhaustion
  • Longing for God’s care to feel real again
  • Craving rest that’s spiritual, emotional, and practical

The Rest Guide Was Created To Help Women:

Experience God’s nearness in quiet, grounding ways.

Guided prayer prompts and devotionals will help you be still with the Lord, deepen your sense of communion with Him, and rest in His loving presence.

Make sense of your story and your season.

Thoughtful reflection questions will help you explore what you’ve been carrying, name where you truly are, and listen to what you need in this season.

Create rhythms of rest that actually fit your real life.

Guides to help you plan small, doable moments of restoration — even in busy, unpredictable seasons.

Testimonials

"This devotional helped me exhale and release what I’ve been carrying for years. The weight of unrealistic expectations, systemic barriers, and constant striving can be exhausting, and these pages gently led me back to the rest found in Christ. Through honest storytelling, thoughtful biblical teaching, and practical application, it created a sacred space to pause, lay down the pressure to prove myself, and remember that who I am in Christ is already enough." Elizabeth Woodson, Speaker & Ministry Leader
