The Resolution Party

Women & Allies is a national grassroots movement that emerged in the immediate aftermath of the 2016 election. In cities across the United States, we are gathering to fight against the tyranny of Donald Trump and to protect our civil rights and liberties.

The Resolution Party is a fundraiser to send women from the Greater Houston Area to the Women's March on Washington. The Resolution Party is a fun way to support those who are commited to fighting social inequality and Liberty and Justice for All. The Resolution Party will feature Genesis Blu, winner of The Houston Press Music Awards "Rapper of the Year." The proceeds will go to minimizing the overall cost of the trip for all those marching as well as  fund women who want to march but cannot afford to make the trip. 
The Women's March on Washington Mission Statement:
We support the advocacy and resistance movements that reflect our multiple and intersecting identities. We call on all defenders of human rights to join us. This march is the first step towards unifying our communities, grounded in new relationships, to create change from the grassroots level up. We will not rest until women have parity and equity at all levels of leadership in society. We work peacefully while recognizing there is no true peace without justice and equity for all. HEAR OUR VOICE.
