Speaker Bio:

Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg is a pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. For more than 35 years, the theme that ties together his clinical practice, teaching, research, and advocacy efforts is building on the strength of teenagers by fostering their internal resilience. He works to translate the best of what is known from research and practice into practical approaches parents, professionals, and communities can use to build resilience.

He is the author of several acclaimed books published by the American Academy of Pediatrics, including Lighthouse Parenting: Raising Your Child With Loving Guidance for a Lifelong Bond, Congrats, You’re Having a Teen: Strengthen Your Family and Raise a Good Person, and Building Resilience in Children and Teens: Giving Kids Roots and Wings (4th Edition). A trusted voice on adolescent well-being, Dr. Ginsburg has appeared on CNN, NPR, The Today Show, and Good Morning America, offering parents science-based, heart-centered strategies to raise resilient, well-grounded young people.
