  • 5 hours

“By the end of the workshop, participants will have a comprehensive toolkit of strategies and techniques to effectively communicate the value of their work, enhance their visibility, and advocate for nature-based education.”

Who is this for?

  • Program Directors
  • Nature School Leaders
  • Nature Based Entrepreneurs ~ Consultants, Trainers
  • Educators ready to step forward in their community!

For most educators and program leaders, the challenge of program stability and longevity lies in how well we can communicate the value, outcomes and benefits of our work and our visions. Communication in 2024 happens in person, through speaking events, conferences or presentations. It happens on videos, or in audio formats, like podcasts and interviews. It happens in written form, through articles, books, emails, social media posts and blogging.

This workshop helps participants with the vital groundwork that is critical to successful messages, clarity and engagement. We'll hone your storytelling skills, build confidence, give you strategies for a variety of formats that saves you time, avoid problematic hurdles and help you stay focused on your desired results.

Come prepared to take your vision and mission further, grow as a nature leader and increase your impact. Participants will receive supportive feedback and individual support with their own messaging.

The lived experience of the presenters coupled with the scientific and academic backing of their learned knowledge will inform the journey as we journal about being seen, as we practice vulnerability through becoming more visible.

Please note: the workshop will be outdoors, in the woods, fields and greenhouse. Participants will need to dress accordingly and bring a chair if they can. Lunch will be catered by the wonderful Wandering Vine so please let us know of any dietary restrictions.

What about Continuing Education Unit Credits
