Gabe Perez Bio:
Gabe Perez is a Solution Architect at Red Hat where they support the widespread adoption of open source enterprise software. Before embarking on their journey as a technologist, they worked in various capacities as a public servant utilizing their bachelor’s degree in Political Science and master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA). Gabe went on to earn several industry-recognized certifications including the Red Hat Certified Engineer and Amazon Web Services Developer Associate, among others, which are notable achievements. They encourage those with similar journeys to theirs, to realize their dreams and make homes for themselves in the fields of information technology and software development by sharing their story and offering insight into the transition into tech. In Gabe’s free time, they enjoy traveling and cultivating connections with friends and family.
