In our second set, we lead in with a short music intermission break to mix and mingle and then we launch into our close out set with 5 poets sharing one piece each!

The 901 Poetry Open Mic Purpose

The purpose of 901 Poetry Open Mic Series is to give voice to and showcase Memphis’ literary poetry, spoken word and performing arts community in a loving, friendly, passionate and collaborative fashion.

What is the refund policy?

No refunds but if you need to request one, we will roll your tickets over to another event. Just contact us and let us know which event you'd like to roll your tickets to; Monday or Thursday.

Are children allowed at the open mic?

At this current time, no. Due to the nature of the content and the fact that alcohol is served, all guests must be 18 years of age or older.

Are there food and drink options?

Yes indeed. Food and drink options are available via the Local on Main restaurant.
