The focus of this show will be our featured artist, but we will have some time available to accomodate a limited number of open mic poets. Poets who wish to enter can reach out via direct message. Open Mic poets will be selected by lucky draw and must be present and signed up no later than 30 min before the start of the showcase at 8pm.
🎙️ What is Spoken Word Poetry?
Spoken Word Poetry is a performance focused recital of original poetry. The poetry can cover ANY topic and is open to different styles and techniques. It is a powerful form of creative expression, which gives writers the opportunity, and the outlet, to present their Voice.
