About this event

The Play That Goes Wrong (High School Edition)

By Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer & Henry Shields

Directed by Robert Duval

The Mid-Pacific School of the Arts is thrilled to present The Play That Goes Wrong (High School Edition). From Mischief, the masters of comedy, comes this hilarious farce. Welcome to the Cornley Drama Society’s disastrous production of The Murder at Haversham Manor. A 1920s whodunit where everything goes wrong—an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that won’t stay dead, and actors tripping over their lines. With accidents at every turn, these determined thespians race toward a chaotic finale. Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this laugh-out-loud comedy is an unforgettable, award-winning hit!

Presented by arrangement with Dramatists Play Service under license from Mischief Worldwide Ltd. The Mischief Production of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG was originally produced on the West End Stage by Kenny Wax & Stage Presence and on Broadway by Kevin McCollum, J.J. Abrams, Kenny Wax & Stage Presence.

Please Note: The Play That Goes Wrong is considered appropriate for ages 8 and up.

The Recital Hall is on the second floor of Kawaiaha'o, the historic stone building at the top of the Mid-Pacific Institute campus.

What is the age rating for this show?

We consider this show appropriate for ages 8 and up. We ask that infants and toddlers not be in the audience out of respect for the students. Exiting the black box theatre can be disruptive.

Will concessions be available?

At this time, we do not offer concessions or allow food/drink into the recital hall. We have refill stations for water bottles.

Is there ADA access?

Yes! We have ADA parking adjacent to the building and an elevator at the ground level. You'll want to take it to the 2nd floor.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

We operate as contactless ticketing. You can buy tickets up to the start of the show through Eventbrite. We do not take cash or cards at the door.
