Learn the tricks to making your very own delicious pies with the baking team of Honeypie Bakeshop. Held inside our bakeshop kitchen inside our cafe, Palomino, these very hands-on classes will guide you through a variety of different aspects of pie making and give you a peek into the life of a bakeshop. In each class you will bake your own mini pie to take home. There will be lots of room for questions and answers during each class so come with all of your crust conundrums and filling inquiries . Classes are approximately 2.5-3 hours and are limited to 12 people. Class requires that you stand most of the time and work at a table in a working professional kitchen (please let us know if we can help you with an accommodation to standing). Please wear non-slip, closed-toe shoes. Classes are designed for learners ages 14+.

This Pie Session taught by Lead Baker, Brooke Ogierman, is a hands-on lesson in making our Spring favorite - Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. Each student in class will make one 8" pie. We will have a lesson in making a butter pie crust, the strawberry rhubarb filling as well as how to bake with different pie tops - crust or crumb! We will cover the how-to's of pie dough as well as the tricks to getting a flaky, crisp crust when baking with juicy strawberries. We will bake our pies during class with plenty of time for questions and answers and socializing with friends. In the end, you will have a delicious pie to take home.

Tickets for class includes all of your ingredients, a recipe with tips and tricks and a drink ticket for the bar.

Please note, we often have long wait lists for our pie classes. Tickets to class are non-refundable if you cancel without more than 72 hours notice. If you need to cancel within 72 hours of class, you are welcome to email us, and we will offer your spot to a person on the waiting list. If it is taken by someone waiting, we will refund your ticket. You are also welcome to give your ticket to a friend and they can attend in your place.
