Matthew Slaats, Senior Civic Innovation Manager with the City of Richmond, will be joining RVA Rapid Transit to discuss the People's Budget Richmond and participatory budgeting.

"In October 2019, The Richmond City Council committed to create a patricipatory budgeting process that will give residents a greater say in how a part of the City Budget is spent. In 2022, a commission of residents came together to design this process calling it the Richmond People's Budget (RVAPB,)" -- from People's Budget Richmond.
