The Pen Push is a five-class course for aspiring and/or practicing song writers and rappers to explore pushing their pens in unconventional and boundary breaking ways. We will be getting very freaky with language, exploring the instrumentation of our voices, while grounding ourselves in the precedent that black music traditions and stories have left us. Throughout this course, we will be creating pieces to be shared in a final public showcase on October 25th.
