About this event

North Carolina is poised to received $1.5 billion from a series of national opioid settlements. 85% of funds are going directly to local communities, the allocated funds will be channeled into supporting a variety of essential programs and services across the state, including treatment and recovery initiatives, harm reduction strategies, and other vital efforts aimed at saving lives. Given the varied geographies and economic conditions across North Carolina, each community's approach to utilizing the settlement funds is expected to be distinct, reflecting their unique local circumstances and contexts.

We aim to convene communities for a conversation focused on learning and sharing best practices. Local context and insights gathered from these conversations can help other communities make efficient and informed decisions as they use their settlement funds to reduce harm and mitigate the opioid crisis.

Your voice matters! Together, we can make informed decisions for a healthier, safer future. Save the date and be a part of the conversation!
