Join Clara as she battles the Rat King to save the Nutcracker Prince, then travel through the enchanted Snow Forest and beautiful Kingdom of the Sweets. It&#x27;s Pioneer Valley Ballet&#x27;s The Nutcracker, returning for its 41st year to the Academy of Music.From the Snow Queen to the tiniest reindeer, this treasured community event features PVB&#x27;s pre-professional students, guest artists, and 250 dancers from towns throughout Western Massachusetts. With its enchanting score by Tchaikovsky, PVB weaves the tale of a girl, a gift, and the magic of Christmas into the perfect holiday treat for the whole family.Special Performance with Musical Guests
It&#x27;s become a new tradition: We turn our Friday night performance into an evening packed with extra entertainment. You get a full Nutcracker performance along with special performances by the UMass Doo Wop Shop, and other fun treats sprinkled throughout. If you&#x27;re looking for a date night performance, this is the one.
