About this event

In this webinar brought to you by the Living New Deal's New York City Chapter, we will be joined by Diana B. Henriques and Dr. Noah Rosenblum to discuss a series of Supreme Court decisions in the summer of 2024. These decisions —termed “earthshattering” by Justice Sonia Sotomayor, and “a massive shock to the legal system” by Justice Elena Kagan— have jeopardized the federal government’s ability to administer almost everything, including one of the most hard won and enduring of the New Deal’s reforms: the SEC’s regulation of America’s financial markets.
