Join us as we celebrate our fifth year with all the fantastic homegrown talent and creations that have made NewBo City Market famous! Enjoy great food, exclusive gifts, the best beers and wines, all while dancing the night away with two great local bands. 
Proceeds from The Bash benefit NewBo City Market’s mission to support local entrepreneurs as they grow new food and retail businesses and to provide a place for arts, culture, and entertainment for the entire community to enjoy.  Tickets are $50/person and are available now online or by calling 319-200-4050.
 
<H3 CLASS="MsoNoSpacing">A Taste of NewBo</H3>
The NewBo Shopkeepers are putting together a special menu for the NewBo Bash! Visit each business stall and sample scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and some special creations made just for The Bash. A Taste of NewBo isn’t just about food – the retail Shopkeepers will fill your goody bags with exclusive gifts from their stores.
 
<H3 CLASS="MsoNoSpacing">NewBo Beer and Wine</H3>
Each NewBo Bash guest will receive a commemorative NewBo Bash pint glass and two complimentary drinks from NewBo Beer and Wine. We will have three bars open serving great Iowa beers and wines. Plus, for one night only, you can enjoy distinctive cocktails featuring juices from Get Fresh and coffee from Roasters.
<H3 CLASS="MsoNoSpacing">Live Music</H3>
Bring your dancing shoes as we party late into the evening with two great local bands! The Roots of Rhythm trio will get the evening started with their early style jazz as well as more modern renditions of jazz standards. Then Crankshaft will take the stage with their big rock sound powered by a Hammond organ and a special performance by Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett.

In October 2012, NewBo City Market opened to help revitalize the New Bohemia District and surrounding neighborhoods through economic development and community engagement. We are a unique public place showcasing our community's assets, inspiration, and potential by cultivating new business and entrepreneurship and by promoting local artists and artisans. In the past five years, we have welcomed over one million visitors through our doors and become a dynamic civic hub for all to enjoy.
