About this event

On 17 & 18 of February, as part of the MIT European Career Fair, the Netherlands invites you to a showcase of the Netherlands’ best employers. Are you a Graduate student, PhD, or Post-Doc in STEM and looking for Career opportunities in the Netherlands? Join us and meet +40 Dutch companies, universities and regional representatives!

The Netherlands, with its rich and diverse technological, research and academic landscape, has much to offer for high-skilled talent. There are 7 Dutch universities among the world's top 100 universities, and we have over 1500 tech companies, covering a vast ecosystem from seed startups to scaleups like Primephonic, Picnic, to established companies like ASML, Booking.com, Philips, and Uber.

As a result, the Netherlands ranks 6th on the 2021 Global Innovation Index. Furthermore, the Netherlands is known for having the happiest citizens on earth, the highest English language proficiency, universal healthcare and last but not least: more bikes than people!

We host two in person events where we connect you to Dutch employers:

  • A lunch session on Thursday February 17 at 11.30 am-2pm @ CIC 1 Broadway Cambridge or
  • A networking event on Friday February 18 between 5.30-8.30pm @CIC 1 Broadway Cambridge.

Additionally, we would like to connect you with the 40+ companies and universities from The Netherlands joining the 2022 European Career Fair.

There's limited tickets available for the in-person events and they're on first-come first-serve basis. If you're joining an in person event, please sign up for just one of the events, not both, as we want to grant as many people as possible the opportunity to meet their future Dutch employer!

The in-person events will only take place if we can organize them in line with the latest covid guidelines of the City of Cambridge and MIT.
