8:00 PM - BRAD MARINO is back in Portsmouth (Yay!) and ready to deliver some straight-up hits from his vast catalogue of music. A multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Brad possesses a calm and cool vocal delivery that combines elements of classic rock n roll, power pop, and a touch of punk. 7:00 PM - THE NERVOUS EATERS helped define the early underground rock scene in Boston. Inspired by Link Wray, Chicago Blues greats and British guitar legends Beck, Clapton and Page, the Nervous Eaters created a raw edgy style uniquely their own. Under the management of Jim Harold, owner of the legendary nightclub "The Rat", the band released their first single, "Loretta", which remains one of the city’s most endearing rock & roll anthems. The Eaters have opened for numerous national acts including Iggy Pop, Squeeze, Go Go’s, Pretenders, The Police, Ramones and more. In 1980, Ric Ocasek of The Cars produced a demo for the band that was picked up by Elektra Records and released nationally. They have also recorded for Penniman Records, No Tomorrow Records and Ace of Hearts Records. In 2021, the band was signed to Wicked Cool Records and new songs are being released regularly to rave reviews! The band is currently fronted by founding member Steve Cataldo on lead guitar & vocals, with Carissa Johnson on bass & vocals, Adam Sherman on guitar & vocals, Jim Sullivan on keyboards and David McLean (of Willie Alexander's band) on drums. https://www.facebook.com/NervousEaters
