This is a FREE community event, open to ALL ages.

We simply want to encourage healthy physical MOVEment.

ALONG THE ANACOSTIA RIVER:

Up to 5K (3.3 miles) for walkers/joggers IF they choose to do so (pace and distance are self-determined)
An 8-mile cycle ride along the riverfront
An 18-mile cycle ride for more seasoned cyclists; up to Colmar Manor Park (Maryland)

Mu Lambda is Alpha's eleventh alumni chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., chartered October 1, 1923, in Washington D.C. The chapter was established, in part, in response to the desire of graduate brothers, many of whom were initiated into the Beta Chapter at Howard University, to give aid to the undergraduate brothers and continue the work of Alpha. Chartered by 22 distinguished men of Alpha which included Jewel Nathaniel Allison Murray and Jewel Robert Harold Ogle.
