This event is designed to help participants to quiet their minds and step into their bodies, addressing issues of mental health, anxiety and depression as major concerns in our communities. People will get their bodies moving in an upbeat and naturally energizing manner through guided Yoga and a Liberating Dance.
THE MOVEMENT is part of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce's and City Awake’s six day citywide festival, Fierce Urgency of Now #FUNinBOS: Energizing Millennials of Color to Unlock Boston’s Promise, which envisions a Boston community where all feel welcome and all can succeed. 
Register by September 12 to any event during <A HREF="https://www.cityawake.org/fierce-urgency-now?p=FUNinBOS" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Fierce Urgency of Now</A>, including THE MOVEMENT, and be entered to win tickets to a pre-game mixer followed by the Red Sox vs. Orioles game on September 24! All winners will notified by email before the kick-off of the festival.
 
FAQs
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
By Public Transportation: The Bruce C. Bolling Building is located in Dudley Square directly adjacent to Dudley T - Station.
By Car: Please see Google Maps
Parking: Street Parking Available.
 
What can I bring into the event?
We really encourage everyone to bring their own yoga mat if they have one. Please also bring a water bottle, and comfortable clothing/warm layers (depending on weather).
A limited number of mats will be provided. 
 
Will there be food?
A light breakfast will be provided.

They encourage attendees to complete the demographic questions to help make visible both Millennials of Color in Boston and the organizations they serve. It is not mandatory that you answer the demographic questions in order to successfully register.
