The garden clubs of Mount Airy - Garden Gate, Modern Gardeners and Mountain View Gardeners -proudly present the 2024 Mount Airy Blooms Garden Tour! Ticket holders will enjoy private tour access to a selection of the finest home gardens in Mount Airy and surrounding areas.

Please Note: For all tickets purchased through Eventbrite, tour maps will be emailed to each confirmed ticket holder two days prior to the event.

What can I bring to the event?

Please wear comfortable shoes. Photographs of the homes and/or gardens are not permitted. Please abide by this important policy in order to protect the privacy of the homeowners.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please be prepared to show either your printed ticket or your e-ticket to the volunteer at each garden on the tour. You may begin the tour at any garden on the map.

When will I receive a map of the homes and gardens on tour?

In an effort to protect the privacy of those who have their gardens on the tour, maps and complete instructions about the tour will be sent to ticket purchasers via email two days before the tour begins. Tour maps will be available at the Mount Airy Visitors Center and at each stop on the tour. Public restrooms are available Downtown on Main Street at the Easter Brothers mural (across from Snappy Lunch)and at the Visitors Center.

Are pets and children allowed on the tours?

Pets and strollers are not allowed. Public restrooms are not available so the tour may not be suitable for small children. The location of restroom facilities will be indicated on your map. Anyone entering the gardens must have a ticket, regardless of age.

Do guides lead the tours?

No, this is a self-guided tour, although garden club volunteers will be stationed at each home and garden to answer your questions. A map outlining the homes and gardens on the tour will be sent via email two days before the tour. Maps will be available at the Mount Airy Visitors Center and at each stop on the tour.

What is the privacy policy

The Mount Airy Blooms Tour acknowledges the importance of protecting all information submitted by our online visitors. Please print a copy of your ticket and bring with you or you may show your ticket on your cell phone/mobile app.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

*Event will be held rain or shine.

*Well-supervised children age six and older are welcome. Each must have a ticket.

*Gardens are not handicap accessible.

*No stroller, cars, motorized vehicles or animals except service dogs are allowed in gardens.

*No photography or sketching allowed onsite.

*Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Purchase of the ticket is an agreement to assume full responsibility for any personal injury and that both Mount Airy Blooms Tour and the property owner are not liable for any injuries or accidents which may be incurred during the tour. We recommend walking shoes as gardens may have pebbles, mulch or uneven walkways and inclines. Please be mindful of these.
