“The Mortal Remains of The Up Stairs Lounge Fire Victims”

Historian and writer, Frank Perez will take you through the tragic 1973 Up Stairs Lounge arson, which is still the deadliest fire in New Orleans history, claiming 32 lives.

In addition to recounting the story of the fire and its aftermath, the lecture will focus on three specific victims—Ferris Leblanc, Rev. Bill Larson, and Reggie Adams—and the unique circumstances surrounding their burials.
