About this event

We’ll hike Bob Walker Ridge through native Blue Oak forests and enjoy a closeup view of the eastern side of Mt Diablo from the cliffs where Prairie Falcons nest in the spring. The first half of the hike will be relatively flat, with some narrow single track, followed by gentle rolling hills back to the trailhead. If there is significant rainfall in the days before the hike, expect very muddy conditions. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended; hiking poles may be useful. Heavy rain cancels.

Plenty of free parking and bathrooms at the trailhead.

This hike is limited to 20 participants.
