Over three hours, we will analytically explore key areas of concern:
- The Erosion of Reality: The threat of deepfakes to personal privacy, security, and factual discourse.
- Algorithmic Manipulation: The use of AI in spreading disinformation and exploiting cognitive biases.
- Next-Generation Cybersecurity Threats: The new frontier of AI-powered phishing, hacking, and autonomous cyber warfare.
- Sustainability: The significant carbon footprint and resource consumption of large-scale AI model training.
This session is designed to inform and empower professionals, students, and concerned citizens. The discussion will conclude with a forward-looking segment on mitigation strategies, ethical frameworks, and regulatory responses.
