Once again, the hosts of the Horror Pod Class will be taking a break over the month of July but, before they go, they’re leaving you with one of the bleakest monster movies in modern memory. Adapted from the Stephen King novella of the same name, Frank Darabont’s The Mist becomes at once a grim parable of the War on Terror and just a great survival horror flick packed with gnarly monsters. Join Tyler and Orrin for a FREE screening of this modern classic in black-and-white, the way it was meant to be seen, and then stick around afterward as they discuss Bernie Wrightson, early 21st century politics, their memories of the novella, and watching movies outside of their original historical context.
