About this event
This virtual class is for anyone interested in increasing their knowlege of herbs used during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
The class will be taught by Tina M. Braimah, a midwife and herbalist based out of Durham, NC. She is the owner of Aya Birth & Community Wellness (formerly known as Sankofa Birth & Women's Care) and Gracie Deola's Natural Wellness Remedies. Mama Tina brings a wealth of birth-related and herbal knowledge and always provides an engaging exchange with the participants.

This classes will be held virtually during the month of June (2, 9, 23 and 30th) and will include four - one hour long classes. The course will be recorded and participants will have access for 30 days after the course has concluded. Participants must register with the email address they will use to access the course.
The full registration fee of $500 includes instruction, the herbal medicine making kit and CEUs. This course has been approved for 3.5 ACNM CEUs, which are generally accepted by NARM. An optional bonus class is available for $100. This is an opportunity to ask the instructor any questions regarding material covered during the class or medicine making session.
Note that liquids such as alcohol, glycerin, vinegar and olive oil are not provided in the kit and will have to be purchased separately if you don't already have them at your disposal. Participants may want to have additional 4-8 oz jars available for making more than one remedy.
The last day for registration for this course is June 1st.
A certificate of completion is provided upon completion of the course and receipt of the course evaluation.
