About us

What if there was a safe space in your city for TV Show & Movie lovers to meet, socialize, and nerd out in the best way possible? Main Character Support Group is group therapy for TV & movie fans who want to meet and have passionate discussions about their favorites with fellow fans. Join us for our TV Pilot Party where you'll meet other TV & Movie lovers, play games, and experience a TV Show Table Read brought to life by actors!

Why we created the Main Character Support Group

It's simple. We miss the good old days when watching TV Shows and going to the movies was something you did with your friends and loved ones. We believe in the power of community and being around like mind people who not only make you feel seen, but celebrated.

What to Expect

At our TV Show Pilot Party, you'll meet and socialize with other TV/Movie connoisseurs, play fun TV/Movie themed games, and experience an original unproduced TV Pilot Script brought to life by talented actors in a fun and laid back Table Read.

​Doors at 6:45pm sharp. Event starts at 7pm on the dot!

The Agenda!

• What are you watching (10 mins): A moderated spoiler free conversation about what TV shows & movies everyone has been watching and their thoughts! Open your notes app and get ready to meet your next watch!
• TV/Movie Themed Game (10 mins): Are you ready to put your TV & Movie knowledge to the test? We will play a surprise fun game as a group. Winner gets to pick our next BAD movie watch! :)
• TV Show Pilot Table Read (30-45 mins): Experience an Un-Produced TV Pilot Script performed by actors for the very first time in our table read section.
• Musical Break (3 mins): A performance from a local musician!
• Talkback with Screenwriter (10 mins): Q&A with the Pilot screenwriter!
• Pick our next TV Show Watch (5 mins): Vote on our next group (TV show) watch. The show we pick will be airing currently and we will discuss our thoughts at the next event!
• Socialize (till we get kicked out!): Connect with fellow fans and find out who is also going to watch your most anticipated movie of the year, plan a group movie theatre date, or organize a watch party for the finale of that new spy show or... the Bachelorette!

A ticket purchase grants you access to our private group chat! Find one of our organizers at the event to be added to the group chat.
