This is a family-friendly event hosted by the Salem Food Policy Council. The event will take place on the Congress St. bridge between Derby and Ward Streets. Our goal is to bring the community together over a festive meal and raise awareness of the work of the Salem Food Policy Council and its member organizations to make healthy, culturally appropriate food affordable for all Salem community members.

What if it rains?

We have an indoor location in Shetland Park. Details TBA.

Will alcohol be served?

No, we are not licensed to serve alcohol and participants are not permitted to bring alcohol to the event.

What is the menu?

The Salem nonprofit Root will be catering the event and will provide the menu closer to the event date.

Where can I park?

The South Harbor parking garage at 245 Derby Street is less than a 5 minute walk to the event. There is also metered on-street parking around the event. The area around the Congress Street bridge will be closed to traffic and parking on the day of the event.
