Whether you’re going unmedicated, getting an epidural, or still figuring it all out, The Labor Lab teaches you the why behind it all—so you can make decisions with confidence, not fear. Learn legit tools for handling contractions, breathing that actually helps, and positions that support your body (and your baby).

Led by a doula who keeps it real, this class goes beyond surface-level info and gives you the knowledge and mindset to stay grounded, strong, and in control—even when things don’t go exactly to plan. Because birth doesn’t follow a script—but you can still lead the story.

Can I bring my kids to The Labor Lab?

We totally get it—sometimes the littles need to come along! While we encourage parents to attend without kids so you can focus, we do have a play space available for children who attend. You’ll be able to concentrate on getting ready to be the boss of your birth while your kiddos are entertained!

How long is the class, and what should I bring?

The class is hands-on, informative, and fun—expect a 2 hour session packed with real talk and real tools. Dress comfortably, bring a partner if you can, and come ready to laugh, learn, and leave with the confidence to take charge of your birth!

What if I’m planning a c-section or want an epidural? Should I still come?

This class focuses on labor support AND offers valuable communication tools with your care team and birth planning information. So, whether you’re planning an epidural, a c-section, or any other birth path, you'll leave with confidence, knowledge, and practical tools to support your birth choices.
