<h2>WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO HAVE AN INNER KING?</h2>Some people seem to be born with an innate sense of personal authority. They seem to know what they want, and they can organize resources around their personal and professional projects. Their relationships are marked by mutual integrity and respect, and they find meaningful ways to offer their gifts to others, as well as encouraging others to develop their own talents.For other people, these qualities don’t seem to come as naturally. We struggle with self-doubt and indecision. We wonder if we are living the life we were meant for. Perhaps there is a pattern of starting projects but rarely seeing them through to completion. We defer to others or frequently feel the need to ask others for advice, and while this is helpful in making small steps along the way, there always seems to be a sense that there is a deeper, more genuine source of wisdom and guidance somewhere within ourselves… if only we could tap into it.The good news is, we can tap into it. These potent energies exist within the deeper parts of our being, and it is part of our calling to develop that potential. Doing so results not only in the power to enact the change we desire, but also a fuller, richer experience of the life we’ve been living all along. <h2>HI. I’M LEE…</h2>I’m a musician, writer, teacher, and scholar of mythology, anthropology, spirituality, and psychology. As a coach-practitioner, I help people get back into their life-story.I designed The King Within for men dealing with what may look like a variety of different issues, but that usually have the same central issue at their core: a missing connection with a deep sense of inner authority.<h2>ABOUT THE WORKSHOP</h2>Drawing upon the wisdom of depth psychology, archetypal psychology, and applied mythology, this workshop is designed to evoke a sense of personal authority, sovereignty, and effectiveness through a unique form of creative imagination and self-authorship. It sounds like serious stuff, and it is… but it’s also a lot of fun, especially if you like a good story. Plus, if worked with regularly over time, the ideas covered can produce results that are truly transformational.Session 1 — Foundations: We dig into the functions of the archetypal King in men’s inner lives, and how it impacts the outer life. We will look at how the King harmonizes other aspects of who we are, discuss the difference between growing up and growing down, touch a bit on the state of masculinity and femininity in today’s culture, and set the stage for drafting a Personal Legend. Session 2 — Developing the Details: We get into the specific elements of the Legend, as well as the difference between active imagination and creative imagination, and how to use them both to expand into a fuller experience of life.Session 3 — Encountering the Inner Other: For every King, there is a Queen, and vice versa. In this session, we experience how the Feminine principle is critical to accessing and activating our inner King.Session 4 — Bringing Our Stories to Life: In the final session, we talk about ways we can continue to carry the Legends we have drafted, as well as ways that we might support and encourage one another as we begin taking hold of greater personal power.<h2>WHAT&#x27;S INCLUDED</h2>The workshop fee is $145 and includes all four sessions.
