About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

The nonprofit End of Life Psychedelic Care is excited to announce the launch of our Journey Circle, a FREE biweekly online discussion group, starting January 22, specifically for individuals living with life-threatening or terminal illnesses. If you have participated in, or are curious about, psychedelic experiences, this group offers a unique opportunity to connect, share, and explore in a welcoming and supportive environment. PLEASE NOTE: if you are a practitioner or caregiver, please share with your clients or loved ones.

Journey Circle is a Safe Space for Exploration and Support to:

  • Share Your Journey: Connect with others who understand your path.
  • Explore Mystical Experiences: Discuss insights from psychedelic journeys, near-death experiences, or other profound moments.
  • Foster Connection: Build a sense of community and understanding during these challenging (and sometimes joyful) times.

The Discussion Group will be facilitated by Zoe Francesca Goldblatt, MFA. Zoe works in the end-of-life field as a trained End of Life Doula, Activity Therapist and Spiritual Care Provider. Zoë facilitates a monthly Death Cafe and co-leads grief support groups and numerous workshops on spiritual aspects of grief and joy. As a Psychedelic Doula, she is particularly interested in the intersection of psychedelics and end-of-life spiritual inquiry.

EOLPC believes that anyone, when faced with a life-threatening or terminal illness, needs to be witnessed and heard by others who can deeply empathize with their journey. Sharing and reflecting on mystical experiences offers a deeper understanding of life, death, and what lies beyond. These insights often carry transformative wisdom that can foster peace, connection, and clarity during times of profound transition.

This was illustrated perfectly by Thomas Hartle, the first Canadian approved for psilocybin therapy through Health Canada, who speaks powerfully about the value of group therapy. Diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.Thomas shares how bonding with others in the same situation, as a participant in the Canadian-based Roots to Thrive Program, created unbreakable connections, enhanced the journey, and deepened the integration process. He describes how discussing fears, hopes, and psychedelic insights helped them feel as one, journeying together through shared experiences.
