Practice. Perform. Play.
THE JAM at Stomping Ground Comedy is a free, community-powered improv session happening every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday of the month- no audition, no pressure, no judgment.
What Is an Improv Jam?
A jam is an open improv session where performers of all levels warm up, play games, build scenes, and get real stage time together. Think of it as a drop-in improv workout: structured enough to teach you something, loose enough that anything can happen.
What to Expect at THE JAM
- 2nd Sundays: Traditional improv- scenes, games, and classic long-form/short-form play
- 3rd Sundays: Traditional improv- scenes, games, and classic long-form/short-form play but with a theme or curated for a special affinity group
- 4th Sundays: Musical Improv- same energy, plus songs made up on the spot
- All experience levels welcome- whether you've performed for years or have never said "yes, and" out loud before
- Real stage time and new scene partners every session
- A supportive room built for learning and play, not performance pressure
