Assalaamu alaykum and Peace be upon you. Welcome to the The Islamic Seminary of America's Inaugural Commencement Ceremony!

Come join us for a blessed and historic event celebrating the achievements of our graduates. Be a part of the future, as our students take the next step in their journey towards rooted, relevant, and rigorous Muslim leadership.

With globally renowned keynote speaker, Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, our Dean, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi, and many of our esteemed faculty and instructors, this is a unique opportunity to join TISA in a significant milestone.

This is a reserved seating event. A free ticket is required for each guest. Registration is open exclusively for our students and guests until May 2nd, and then it will be open to the public. We cannot guarantee seats after May 2nd.

Parking is available free of charge in the parking garage (second floor and above) directly across from the venue. TISA guests will receive an email with detailed parking information prior to the event.

Frequently asked questions

Is parking available?

Guests may park in Parking Structure 1 (PS1), only on the 2nd floor and above. PS1 is directly across from the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Ctr. There is no charge and a parking pass is not required. Directions to PS1: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xfHOxDNWZxrvSoJaPdlxY42ekOYlBFk6/view?usp=sharing

Can I bring family members/guests?

Every guest must have a ticket to enter the commencement ceremony. There is no limit to the number of family members/guests you can bring, based on availability, and provided that each attendee has reserved a ticket.

What if someone in my party does not have a ticket?

This is a reserved seating event. Each attendee must present his/her ticket in order to enter.

Can I bring my child?

There is no babysitting or daycare available for this event. Guests are welcome to bring children, provided that the children are able to remain quiet, seated, and with an adult at all times.

Are there any designated TISA hotels for out of town guests?

TISA guests can book at the Hilton Richardson Dallas, which is located approximately ten minutes from venue, and receive a discounted rate. Once you have completed your ticket reservation, your confirmation email will provide additional hotel details.
