The Indy Open 2024

The Indy Open is a sanctioned USAW meet to be held on August 5, 2023, at Crossfit 9 Degrees. The meet is hosted and sanctioned by MASS Events (Moran Academy for Strength & Speed) with production, planning, and staffing assistance from Meet Week Co.

Registration will begin on April 1. Start lists and schedules will be sent the week prior to the meet. A singlet and current USAW membership is required in order to compete. Prizes will be given to top male, female, and all session winners.

All Weigh-ins will occur 2 hours prior to start time per USAW. Each weigh-in will end one hour before session start time. No exceptions.

SCHEDULE: A preliminary schedule will be released one month ahead of time. A final schedule will be released as soon as registration closes.

ORDER OF LIFTS: Snatch, Clean & Jerk.

All lifters must have a current USAW membership in order to lift. Membership and equipment will be checked at weigh-in. PLEASE COME TO YOUR WEIGH-IN WITH A PHOTO ID, YOUR USAW MEMBERSHIP CARD (on your phone is fine), AND YOUR OPENERS IN KILOS. Youth lifters must be accompanied by a parent or same-sex coach for weigh-in. For specifics on equipment allowances, please refer to the IWF Rules page linked here. Lifters must compete in a singlet. Youth lifters must weigh in wearing their singlet.

ENTRY FEES: Early Registration (20 available) $75.00 All Categories. Regular Registration $100.00 All categories. Late Registration (not guaranteed if meet sells out) $145.00 All Categories.

All Divisions in both Men’s & Women’s classes are included, including youth.

Registration & Shirt order ends on Saturday, July 20th at NOON.

Late registration will be allowed based on space remaining from JULY 21-27TH, 2023.

** There will be no refunds allowed.**

All spectators will be expected to pay a $10 entry fee. Anyone who volunteers for at least one session will be given a wristband and not have to pay the spectator fee. Spectators can purchase admission on Eventbrite or at the door.

If you are able to volunteer, please fill out the volunteer form (LINK TO BE ADDED HERE) to let us know what you are able to do and when you are available during the weekend. Anyone who volunteers for at least one session will receive complementary spectator admission.
