The Bright Star Center for grieving children and families presents, “The Incredible Grief Journey”. A 4-day summer camp experience for grieving children.

Bright Star’s summer day camp is a bereavement camp (sponsored by Hospice of Health First) for youth who have experienced the death of a significant person in their lives. Children ages 5 to 12 participate in a camp experience that facilitates emotional support and grief education with fun, interactive camp activities.

How will my child benefit?

  • Children will have opportunities to process grief in health ways.
  • Make friends who have had similar experiences.
  • Honor and remember loved ones.
  • Have fun!

Fast Facts:

  • Camp takes place at Bright Star in Melbourne. Space is limited.
  • When: July 22 - July 25
  • Time: 9 am- 12 pm
  • Registration is required for all campers.
  • Snack will be provided each day!
  • Closed toes shoes and comfortable clothes required.
