About this event

  • 1 hour 15 minutes

Step into the life of a carbon atom with educator, Kim Fendrich, and take a journey through the carbon cycle to better understand this element’s role in climate change.

We’ll play a game to help visualize where carbon comes from, how it moves, and how things have changed since the industrial revolution.

This fun and interactive activity is a great way to introduce the topic to children and will be eye-opening for adults as well!

Meet at the picnic tables across from the horse trailer lot at the main entrance.

In case of bad weather, the program will be held in the art gallery at the Visitor Center.

Max: 20 people. Suggested for ages 8+

Parking: $6 per vehicle.

Its network of carriage trails wind through scenic forests, fields, and wetlands, which provide important habitat for native plants and wildlife.
