Improv Jam!

The Jam is your chance to get on stage! Students, veteran improvisors and anyone who puts their name in the bucket will be invited up in small groups to play improv scenes or games. No improv experience necessary to participate, and all are welcome! The Jam is a supportive, safe, and super fun environment, whether you want to try improv for the first time or hone your skills. Westside student's and resident teams get in free!

HOW IT WORKS:

  • WE RECOMMEND YOU PAY CASH AT THE DOOR TO AVOID FEES
  • Arrive before 10PM
  • Purchase a ticket and a slip of paper.
  • Write your name on the slip and drop it in the bucket
  • The host will pull 3 names per scene. Scenes last 2-3 minutes
  • When all the names are pulled, we will pull half the names for an 8-10 minute montage and then repeat for the second half!

Where are you located?

We are located in the alley between 3rd and 4th between Santa Monica Blvd and Arizona Blvd.

Where should I park?

The easiest parking is at Parking Garage #1 (entrance on 4th Street between Wilshire & Arizona). Free for 90 min, then $2 for the next 30 min—just $2 for 2 hours! After that, it's $1.50 per half-hour. There is also street parking that is free after 6PM on 5th street and east.

When should I arrive?

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before a show. We are a general admission theater and there are no assigned seats.

Is there a drink minimum?

NO DRINK MINIMUM. But we do have a great wine and beer bar that you won’t be able to resist. We also sell sodas, non-alcoholic beer and other non-alcoholic beverages.

What is seating like?

We have cabaret style seating, small tables with chairs around them. Our tables seat two. All of our seating is done first come first serve, from the front to the back of the room. We can accommodate large groups to sit together. For large parties, please contact chrisgorbos@gmail.com

Do you have ADA listening devices?

Yes, we have ADA listening devices available upon request at the door. If you are seeking further accommodation, please email chrisgorbos@gmail.com at least 24 hours before the start of the event.
