Join us Wednesday, July 10th for a compelling discussion around the impact of migraines on workplace productivity.

According to the latest estimates, 14-15% of the population worldwide suffers from migraine. The impact is profound:

• Employees with migraine had an average of 2.2 excess sick days per year, at a cost of almost $600 in wages and benefits.[i]

• Each year, employers’ short-term disability (STD) insurance policies experience an average of 1.4 new claims for migraine per 10,000 covered lives. STD claims for migraine incur an average of 60 lost workdays, at an average cost of about $5,200 in wage replacements and paid employee benefits.[ii]

• According to IBI's benchmarking data, employers’ long-term disability (LTD) insurance policies manage an average of 1.7 active claims for migraine per 10,000 covered lives. 24% remain open two years after they begin. LTD claims for migraine incur an average cost of about $51,400 in wage replacements and paid employee benefits per year.
